Shhhhh! Doug videoed this from my iphone (yes, I got an iphone, hee,hee!) during sacrament (yikes, don't tell anyone). He didn't realize that he needed to keep my phone upright, so the video is obviously displayed wrong. Oh, well. I think Stirling did a great job, I really enjoyed singing with him. Only thing is, as you may notice I seem and sound a bit distracted ): my left eye kept wanting to "wink" that's right, not twitch but actually close and water! I tried to calm it but it could not be

controlled. I'm usually very good and covering up unexpected occurrences when performing,

but this was beyond me. Thank goodness it didn't seem to disturb Stirling he just plowed on through and really did wonderfully. I hope we can do something again, next time without my

weirdness!!!

We got together with Brittny's family Monday while I was visiting Texas. The beach is not my favorite thing in Texas but I loved snapping these cute pics of the kiddos!!!!

BSA High Adventure 2010

Stirling takes off on his first BSA High Adventure. It is a 60 mile hike near Mount Davis. They will take their packs only, so here he is at the beginning. The pack is near 50 lbs. He says he can handle it fine. I think it'll feel like 100 lbs when he's done. He went on all of the prep hikes with his pack at about 40 lbs so hopefully that will be helpful.

Boy Scout Camp 2009

Stirling's boy scout troop went to Lost Pines for their camp week this year. (yes believe it or not, there are pine trees in Texas) Here he is with most of his troop getting ready to take off.

Here he is at the end of the week long camp; tired & dirty but satisfied that a good time was had by all!

Three hours from SA and we are on a mini vacation. My boss sent us to Padre Island for some R&R to say thanks for a job well done. I love my new job, and obviously the boys are enjoying the the fringe benefits too!!!

Last Friday, Destiny took Lyndon and I roller skating. The picture above shows me 'skating' using my 'cat like reflexes'. Even though I fell a lot, It was lot of fun!

Not this past weekend but when we went down before, I helped Mom make a "fairy godmother" costume for YW... here is what we came up with.

And of course we all had to try it out!

You would have thought being the princess that she is, Maddie would have loved it... not so much!
Lyndon tried it on several times... we'll save this for blackmail later.

This says by Dad because he made the cake and of course let Lyndon lick the icing, but I was the one taking the pic of the cake and focused it on the cake itself not realizing until later how funny Lyndon was sitting behind it covered in chocolate icing! Classic :)

Our Dad is like the funniest man I know! Here are some pics of his beard, as you can see he took himself. He grows a nice beard but Mom's right, it's does remind you that the cancer is there.

I did the best I could to 'doctor' them up Dad, but what's with the squinty Popey eye? Is that part of being the mountain man :)

THE CRASH

This morning on the way to work I rear ended a car at a light

The DCI West Championships were are Stanford Stadium this year and Tim and I were able to go with the Youngs. The bands were so amazing, but the best part was that I got to drum with the Blue Devils drumline!!! (They were the winners this year). Steve made some connections and set it up for me. It was so intimidating but so much fun! I haven't picked up sticks since HS so I was really rusty but I heard one of the guys say "hey, she can hang" after we started playing. It was a BLAST!!!

Well, I decided it was time to start reading up on potty training and guess what!? Lyndon passed the "readiness test!" So, we took a trip and got all the supplies. We turned his crib to a big boy bed and now we just have to figure out the bathhroom door situation and we're ready to go! Wish us luck!!!!!!!!

Stirling 5th Grade

Stirling had an eventful 5th grade year. He was a successful peer mediator; his teacher and pricnipal both mentioned to me that they could always count on him, and knew that if Stirling was part of a mediation it would be very successful. His hard work paid off in everything he pursued. He was chosen as student of the month by the City of Windcrest Optimist club and he received some very prestigeous awards at the 5th grade awards ceremony; the American Legion award and medal and the President of the US Education award, signed by President Bush and th Secretary of Education. He's really following in his sisters footsteps. They are big shoes to fill, but he's difinitely up to the task. These are just two of the very many awards he took home this year. Thankfully, it hasn't gone to his head, he seems to be able to stay humble so far

California May 2007

Brittny & Tim flew me to CA and here we are having a GREAT time, we went to the boardwalk at Santa Cruz. It was cold, but fantastic!!!
I can't remember the name of this park, but it was absolutely one of the most beautiful I've been to. It was in San Francisco. I could have hiked around there all day!

The lake here, is where Tim proposed to Brittny, talk about romantic!

Yes! That’s me at the Golden Gate Bridge and YES, I did walk over it. (well half way anyway, it was far to cold to go all the way) WOW! it was truly amazing!

Our friend traded family pictures with us (Thanks Amy!). It was overcast all day EXCEPT for while we were trying to shoot, so we didn't get everything we wanted. Then Christine offered to take some more that evening and a few minutes into the shoot we had to leave to meet someone back at our apartment!!!! We 'Robison kids' have spent many hours at this piano. I am so grateful to have grown up with the blessings, talents, and gifts of music in our home. One of my favorite memories to this day is Mom singing and playing the piano after we went to bed. I realize now as a new Mom that that was probably her way of de-stressing from her day, but it seemed to me she was singing us to sleep.
